Resumen
Esta investigación evaluó el contenido de metales (hierro, manganeso, cobre, zinc, magnesio, plomo, cadmio y cromo) en la raíz, corteza y hojas de Maytenus macrocarpa (chuchuhuasi) en la región Loreto. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo con muestras recolectadas a lo largo de la carretera Iquitos-Nauta. Las concentraciones de metales pesados fueron cadmio (0.132 ppm) y plomo (0.398 ppm), ambos superando los límites permisibles. Los oligoelementos en la corteza incluyeron hierro (38.150 ppm), manganeso (3.350 ppm), cobre (4.790 ppm), zinc (13.300 ppm) y cromo (4.583 ppm).
Abstract This study evaluated the metal content (iron, manganese, copper, zinc, magnesium, lead, cadmium, and chromium) in the roots, bark, and leaves of Maytenus macrocarpa (chuchuhuasi) in the Loreto region. A descriptive study was conducted with samples collected along the Iquitos-Nauta road. The concentrations of heavy metals were cadmium (0.132 ppm) and lead (0.398 ppm), both exceeding permissible limits. Trace elements in the bark included iron (38.150 ppm), manganese (3.350 ppm), copper (4.790 ppm), zinc (13.300 ppm), and chromium (4.583 ppm).
